MACABRE-CON CANCELLED

Well, it's unfortunate but Macabre-Con 2008 has been forced to cancel. Investor pull outs, lack of vendors and a host of other BS has prevented this amazing convention from seeing the light of day. However, as we all know, there are many other things that might come from these ashes and we wish Bari and Marco who were putting it on well in the future. I know that whatever these two are working on, the War Machine will be there to support! Read about it at www.macabre-con.com .

BLACK CHAPEL TO ROCK HOUSE OF BLUES SUNSET!

Black Chapel will be crushing the House of Blues Sunset for a third time on November 20th, 2008 with In This Moment and Five Finger Death Punch! It's gonna be a crazy show and BC go on at 7:30! ANTHONY CLARKSON TAKES PART IN WORLD WIDE DISNEY: STITCH EXPERIMENT!

Our favorite artist, Anthony Clarkson, will be putting his own personal stamp on the new EXPERIMENT 626 art project done through Mindstyle Toys. Over 100 artists were tapped to take part in this project where each artist was given a 10 inch blank vinyl figure of Disney's Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch). Each artist will then put their own unique brand on art on it. The tour starts in Hong Kong on November 28, 2008 and will end in November 2009 in Hawaii. After the tour, there is talk of making 3-4 inch vinyl figures of a select number of Stitch pieces. More on this as it develops!

This is the first disgusting year for this and it's gonna be 3 bloody days of mutilations, mayhem, horror and all around disfigurement! BLACK CHAPEL:

Well, many of you read about our misadventure to Indianapolis for the metalfest there. If you haven't, check out my blog on www.myspace.com/brownsatan . It was a tough slog but we ended up coming out of it with a renewed sense of determination and battle scars we'll take with us for the rest of our lives.

In other Black Chapel news, the boys played an amazing show at House of Blues Sunset with Amorphis and totally tore up the stage! Great job boys!!

BLACK CHAPEL:

On 9/11/08 Black Chapel played their first show at HOUSE OF BLUES Los Angeles with Finntroll, War Bringer and Carnifex! It went over amazing and the crowd was totally into them!! Check out the photos HERE! Next stop...THE INDIANAPOLIS METALFEST 2!!

ANTHONY CLARKSON:

I know we got this up a little later than we wanted but we got to see Anthony Clarkson display two amazing pieces at this year's CRAZY 4 CULT 2 at Gallery 1988 in Hollywood on August 22nd, 2008! It was an insane night with almost 2000 people in attendance (and a line around the block!!)! We also got to hang out with Jimmy Duval of Donnie Darko (he played FRANK the BUNNY)!!
